Haunted: A Last Visit to the Red House
by Phyllis Grae Grande
documentary feature, 2017, 79 minutes
A group of young filmmakers pay a visit to Bahay na Pula (Red House), a famous haunted house in a small village in the Philippines. Hoping to find ghosts, they instead discover the true horror surrounding the house—used as a Japanese garrison during the World War 2 where thousands of men were killed and girls were mass raped.  Their search leads them to the remaining living victims of the house: women who are now 80-100 years old, who are still searching for justice and reparation after all these years.
